Predator 4WD services and repairs 4 wheel drive vehicles from suspension and locker installations to general repairs and custom fabrication. Predator 4WD can narrow front axles in house and has correct tooling to check for bent housings. It has one of the largest stocked showrooms in Colorado. Predator is a Warn Warranty Center for repairs and parts.

Jerry Panek started this locally owned business in 1985. Today, there are two locations. The North Nevada location does service and repairs and the Drennan location sells parts and accessories. Both locations have qualified technical staff to provide information and correct misconceptions.

Predator 4WD is an A.S.E. Blue Seal certified shop. Only a handful of shops in southern Colorado qualify for this distinction. Predator has two master technicians and all others are certified.

In addition to providing parts and service to the 4 wheel drive community, Predator 4WD has been an active advocate for maintaining and opening new trails. It has done trail maintenance for 20 years donating supplies before grants were available. Predator 4WD was instrumental in opening the Independence Trail System and is currently working with Teller County to reopen trails in the Hayman Burn Area. This business contributes more, if not the most, than any other business in the state to the motorized community.

In 2004 Jerry Panek was recognized nationally as the Environmental 4 Wheeler of the Year by United Four Wheel Drive Associations.
