  1. MONTANA - Ten Lakes Travel Management Project Needs Your Comment

    The Fortine Ranger District of the Kootenai National Forest has developed a proposed action for the Ten Lakes Travel Management Project. The project area is located north and east of Eureka, Montana and includes 64,177 acres. The project boundary contains the Ten Lakes Wilderness Study Area (WSA). Proposed activities include designation of over-snow motorized use areas and non-winter trail management. There are two proposed seasons of motorized over-snow vehicle travel. Season One

    The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Klamath Falls Field office of the Lakeview District will be hosting an open house to learn about the Draft Resource Management Plan (RMP)/Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for Western Oregon.   4. NEVADA - BLM Extends Public Comment Period for the Carson City District Draft RMP/EIS for Another 30 Days

    The Nevada Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Acting State Director John Ruhs has announced that he will extend the current public comment period for the Carson City District Draft Resource Management Plan (RMP) and Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) an additional 30 days. The extended timeframe means that the comment period on the Draft RMP/EIS, which was previously set to close April 27, 2015, will now close on May 27, 2015. This is the second 30-day extension

  5. Reno Expo Silent Auction Raises Over $6,000 For BRC

    RENO, NV (May 6, 2015) -- The awesome folks at Lockett Shows (Al and Shirley Lockett, and crew) raised $6,621 to support the BlueRibbon Coalition (BRC) in its efforts to protect and preserve recreation access. The funds were raised through Silent Auction at the Reno Expo 2015 in Nevada. The Reno Expo is held every year at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center and is produced by Lockett Shows. Not just one show, but four great shows, all in one location.
