  1. UTAH - BLM Utah Seeks Nominations for Vacancies on Resource Advisory Council

    The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is accepting public nominations for the Utah Resource Advisory Council (RAC). The Utah RAC is a 15-member advisory panel which provides advice and recommendations to the BLM on land use planning and management of the National System of Public Lands issues for 22.9 million acres of Federal public lands in Utah. The RAC meets 1-4 times per year.  Membership includes a cross section of Utahan's around the State representing energy, tourism and commercial

  2. UTAH - BLM Seeks Public Comment on ATV Event in Eastern Utah

    The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is seeking the public's input on a proposal by Monticello to host and guide the 2014 San Juan ATV Safari. This is an incredible three-day adventure of world-class riding that needs your support. We are asking all OHVers in Utah to take the time to shoot the BLM an email or a quick note supporting the Special Recreation Permit (SRP) for this annual event.   4. IDAHO - Next Phase of Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests Plan Revision Begins

    The Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests has announced the next phase of revising the Forest's Land and Resource Management Plan (the Forest Plan). The Forest has released the proposed action for the Forest Plan and is asking for additional public input. For the last 20 months, the Forest has engaged the public in collaborative public participation efforts which have been instrumental for providing input into development of the proposed action.The full text of the proposed action can be found at HERE.   5. WASHINGTON - FS Announce Results of the Sustainable Roads Public Meetings for Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie NF

    The Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest is hosting a series of public results forms to share the data collected from the sustainable roads public outreach meetings held last summer. Participants helped identify forest roads that mattered to them. The Forest is in the process of creating a sustainable road strategy to maintain the forest road system within budget for safe travel, use, administration and resource protection.
