ADOPT-A-ROAD AGREEMENT

District of the US Forest Service, or BLM, known as The District,
and the
____________________________________________ 4-Wheel Drive Club,
known as The Club, agree to the following: |
| GENERAL |
| 1) Map coordinates are (T#,

| 3) Early in the year the District and the Club
representatives will have an annual review of the road to address
work planned by both parties and to discuss other long range management
decisions and problems affecting the road.
4) This agreement may be cancelled or amended any time by mutual
consent of both parties. |
| CLUB |
| Communication |
| 1) Any change of the Club contact will be forwarded
to the District.
2) The Club will notify the District of any planned work activities
or events relating to the Adopted Road at least two weeks prior
to the date of the activity.
3) The Land Use Chairman of the Colorado Association of 4 Wheel
Drive Clubs will report to the District by October 1st annually,
the total number of volunteer hours applied to the Adopted Road. |
| Deliverables |
| 1) The Club agrees to perform the following services:
trash removal, sign installation / maintenance, water bar construction
/ maintenance, road obstruction removal, and multiple route control.
2) The Club will supply volunteers. The volunteers may supply
expertise, and or, equipment. |
| DISTRICT |
| Communication |
| 1) Any change of the District contact will be forwarded
to the Club.
2) The District will notify the Club in writing, allowing time
for comment, of any management decisions or environmental studies
that may affect the road. |
| Deliverables |
| 1) The District will provide official signs with
road information to be placed on the road, and specify the location
for placement.
2) The District may supply, or direct the Club to purchase, an
official sign stating, "This Road Adopted and Maintained by the
____________________________________________________________________
Club", to be placed at a designated location on the road.
3) The District may be asked to provide tools, material, and equipment,
as needed, for use by the Club during maintenance trips. |
